Interiors and accessorising with QVC UK

Hi lovelies! Hope you’re having a fab week so far? If you follow my Instagram, you’d have seen that I was recently gifted a couple of gorgeous products from homeware collection, to help with accessorising our new lounge.

However, as many of you already know, our lounge renovation is currently taking a lot longer than we planned, but one of my favourite parts of the renovation process is choosing all of the accessories for the room, even if it is before the room is finished, as I feel it shapes the final design.

So when got in touch offering to gift me some pieces from their homeware brands, to style in our home, I was so excited but also knew I had to choose durable pieces that would look good in our kitchen/dining space, whilst the lounge was being finished.

I had always (naively) thought of QVC as a channel for beauty products or jewellery, but was so surprised to learn about all of the amazing homeware brands and interior designers they work with – including Kelly Hoppen, VQ Radio, Culinary Concepts, Alison Cork, and many more. Each homeware brand then has a wide selection of stunning products available for the home and kitchen – perfect for styling in any room of the house!

The first product I chose, was this gorgeous pale grey leatherette VQ Retro Mini digital radio. I LOVE IT! It’s the perfect size for any space, and looks super stylish. I knew that the colour would go perfectly in our new lounge, but also having the radio in the lounge would be ideal for nights when we just turn the tv off and have a glass of wine. Even though the lounge isn’t finished yet, it also goes perfectly in our kitchen/dining room.

As you have seen many times before, our kitchen has a very relaxed country feel, with exposed brick and chunky wooden furniture, however our lounge will be very formal with panelling and chandeliers – luckily the versatility of the radio, leatherette finish, and 13 shades to choose from means it suits any space.

I am currently moving the radio between the kitchen and the sideboard, depending on where we are spending most of our time, but eventually it will have a permanent home in our new lounge (second blog post to follow with the full renovation and accessorising tips).

The second item I chose, was this gorgeous white Oasis Ripple Vase by Kelly Hoppen. It comes in two sizes: I went for the smaller white version that’s 30cm tall, and as you can see there’s also a stunning graphite version that’s 40cm tall (and definitely on my wish list for when the lounge is finished, as they look stunning together!).

As Kelly Hoppen states herself, this vase looks great on its own as a decorative piece, but also with a single stem, so I decided to mix and match styling it both as it is, and with a single monstera leaf. The combination of the softer green leaf, alongside the structural edges of the vase, creates a gorgeous contrast that makes a real statement in this small corner. Eventually, this vase will also move to the lounge, pride of place in the new bespoke fitted shelving units, but for now it is creating a stunning focal point in our family room.

I was so surprised by the amount of choice of homeware brands on There are so many well-known brands and designers, with a huge amount of choice across their beautiful pieces. It is definitely my new go-to for interior accessorising.
